From taking a NASDAQ-listed company public to founding multiple ventures in software and AI education, my journey has been defined by a passion for innovation and a commitment to bridging the gap between academia and industry.

About Me

Bridging Experience with Innovation

My professional journey began in the semiconductor equipment industry, where I spent over 12 years working for leading NASDAQ-listed companies. As VP and GM of Aviza Technology, I helped take the company public in 2005. In 2008, I transitioned into entrepreneurship, founding a SaaS business that continues to thrive today.

My first encounter with AI dates back to 1994, during my Master's thesis on how early forms of AI were used by Mrs. Fields Cookies to optimize operations. Since then, I've been fascinated by AI's potential and have engaged with its evolving forms across various industries. I founded Cognitive AI Institute to integrate AI education with my hands-on experience, combining AI, Critical Thinking, and Communication in a unique training approach that prepares professionals and students to thrive in today's AI-driven landscape.

  • Silicon Valley Leadership :
    With senior executive roles at NASDAQ-listed companies and participation in a tech IPO, my experience spans both corporate leadership and entrepreneurial ventures.
  • Academic Acumen :
    My educational background includes an MBA in Telecommunications from the University of San Francisco and certification in semiconductor processing from California State University, adding depth to my teaching and strategic insights.
  • AI Strategy Expertise :
    Trained at MIT Sloan and MIT's Computer Science and AI Lab (CSAIL) in AI for Business Strategy, I bring both theoretical knowledge and practical insights to guide businesses in leveraging AI for competitive advantage.
